Suncast Hose Reel Leak - Pink Oring Gasket Seal – JTT175 SMW212

Description

A leaky Suncast Garden Hose Reel likely means it has worn orings.  They are easy and cheap to replace.
This oring kit is for reels that originally came with pink orings
If your garden hose connections are tight and you don't have cracks from winter freeze then it's probably the o-rings.
Not all orings are created equal.  Regular eBay rubber seals or hardware store orings work for awhile but have a much shorter life than these OEM type seals.  These new seals are the same SAE sizes and wear-resistant rubber that comes from the manufacturer.
This order includes the 2 orings needed to repair the leak inside the hose reel.
You will receive black orings to replace the orange.
This is for Suncast Hideaway and Mobile Cart type reels.  Does not fit the auto rewinder, and does not fit the Sidewinder hose reels that attach to the side of house (sidewinder orings are
listed here
).
Check your fit
Suncast has 5 different hose adapters and none of the oring sizes are the same.  Models may look similar on the outside but the orings can be different on the inside.  Therefore even with models listed below you need to confirm your water supply connector to avoid receiving a miss-sized kit and delaying your repair.   It takes 2 minutes to check
You can quickly check your needed oring size by disconnecting the supply hose from the cart and removing the adapter from the cart where the supply hose attaches
If your adapter is
metal or plastic

no sliding release tab

has orings
on it then you need this pink replacement kit.
If it’s plastic with a sliding release tab, has no orings, then I have orange replacement
